Most of Europe is LHD. You won't blind anyone unless you get RHD assemblies for the UK and places that they once ruled that didn't decide to switch sides.

what about the whole beam position thing mentioned above. Something about Euro headlights not aimed high enough to see traffic signs at night. Are the links provided above for the specific units you are referring to?

Default Xenon bulbs?

Has anyone used Xenon gas super bulbs on their D2? I found a cheap set on Amazon and may order something of the like. While we are talking about updating the headlight assemblies, I think adding a xenon bulb would enhance the look and performance of the headlights. Give a modern touch to a classic truck.

The only headlights I pay attention to don't reside on a truck.

I love my discovery but with the amount of $$$ it costs to maintain the last thing I care about is lights. I guess if you're filthy rich...

ZGP, it's a 1 hour DIY job with the 3M polishing kit and electric drill (thread on here already)

I refurbished mine after seeing the thread and it was a simple task with excellent results. I removed my headlights and did the refurb on the bench but it can be done on the vehicle. Well worth doing in any event.

I took a look at my headlights today TRIARII, they are amber at the top and white underneath. I would guess the amber or white reflectors inside are removable and can be changed if you can get the white reflector anywhere without having to buy a whole light unit. I didn't remove the light to see any further as it's too much hassle as the grille has to be removed as well.

I was going to take mine apart to clean them shortly after I got my 2003.

After I snapped off a small chunk of plastic I decided to stop tempting fate on a $300 headlamp.

I've been running these 55w for some 8 years on the D2 and 100w versions on the Pajero with round polycarb headlamps. They are much whiter, brighter and clearer than normal lamps and the 55w versions don't threaten your wiring max. Also cheap from the far east and free delivery.
