Default Ultra Gauge

There are 2 Ultra Gauge models on their website.
UltraGauge EM Plus & UltraGauge MX

Which one of these is better for our D2's?

Thanks in advance!

I have the EM plus 1.2...works fine...maybe 1.4 is not in beta anymore???
and the flex mount......

also, you can get some 7" displays that have OBD II scan data built in, which is cool if you plan to replace your stereo.....

The "OG one" - aka em plus. I don't think the newer functionality of the other one really works with the d2, it's for newer cars.

I have a Bluetooth obd 2 reader hooked up to the obd fusion app on my phone.

What is the benefit of using the ultra gauge over other scanners?

To me it's less fuss than having to open an app and tie up my phone. It's just there, always working, just like everything else in the instrument panel.

More importantly, if you don't have your phone, the app is closed, or your phone is dead - you need that cooling system temp alarm to reliably come thru. Best for the Disco!

I agree... The phone app for me would only be useful if I had an old phone dedicated to the purpose that just stayed in the truck. Totally a good option... If that's is what works for you.

I prefer the stand alone device that is just always there and always working that isn't going into sleep mode or reboots when it thinks it needs an update...
