Default UltraGauge OBDII Scan Tool

Interested in this little guy for my 2001 Discovery II.

Does anyone have experience with it? If so, is it worth the money?

Well worth the money to monitor your Disco.
I prefer the Ultragauge Blue that is used with a smart phone and/or tablet/iPad.

I looked at that one as well, but I don't need another "reason" to look at my phone while driving! It's only the grace of God that I'm not dead!

There are dozens of threads here celebrating the UltraGauge. It's a Godsend and well worth the money.

I have the standard one. My personal opinion is you’re nuts if you don’t get this or another solution to monitor temps.

I ran a phone application for a while- PITA. The permanent mount of the UG gives it to you just like a normal gauge- which is of course another option. The UG is basically plug and play, making it really easy. Plus it’s $60. What’s to lose?

I’m looking forward to the phone so I don’t just stare at the darn thing. I will like being able to monitor, but not 100% of the time.

also, watching fuel trims etc. will be fun for me. My scangauge doesn’t do that.

Thanks for the input. I'm about 3 weeks in on my first Disco, and reading all these threads has me a little nervous because mine runs and drives so well.

A few more questions:

In your opinion, what is the advantage of the regular vs. the blue?

Where are you finding it for $60?

My UG just arrived yesterday. I’ll be using it in my search for a Disco as I will take it with me and plug it in to monitor temps and other things on test drives. It’ll be awesome to have in my Disco when I do buy one as well.
