Default Ultragauge shows a pending code

It's now a week before my road trip and my new Ultragauge is showing a pending 1415 code. That code relates to the secondary air injection system and so I've researched prior posts, but I can't say that I understand it. Oh well. I'll check the connections which is about the limit of my ability.

But the question remains about terminology: does a pending code indicate that it's going to become a real code? At the moment, I'm just disabling the alarm and driving on.

Not sure how to react to this.

pending can go away....doesn't necessarily mean it is going to be a code. just that something is perceived to be wrong and if it persists then you get the code/cel....if not the computer will forget about it.

Thanks and you're spot on. The code did indeed disappear at this mornings start.
