Default Unidentified electrical connectors

I have a 2001 Discovery which has two electrical connectors under the hood above the firewall, one on each side of the vehicle. They are 2-wire pigtails with a pin connector at the ends. Anybody know what they are? I thought maybe pre-wired for off-road lights or something, but have no extra switches anywhere.
