Default up left side engine mount nut - just a rant

The motherless so and so who designed that needs to change every single one for eternity and then some. Getting a wrench on the nut was the 1st hurdle, then trying to get enough leverage to break it free, son of a b. Then the tiny itsy bitsy throw even with a ratcheting wrench to move a nut a whole inch to get it off.

My hat is off to anyone who has done this without a ratcheting wrench

It 's madness, but it is off.

I made a short open end wrench for that nut. It is a pain

Even more frustrating is the driver's side rear (transmission) mount. I still haven't figured out that one. Luckily that one was still sound when I had to replace the one on the passenger side last year.

My last motor mount replacement which was 5-6 months ago resulted in a mild engine vibration. I was underneath it last week and noticed what may be the large lower nut possibly didn't seat up tight to the frame, looks like it might move, it may need a washer, maybe the threads are messed up on the mount stud?? I need to look into it, but it's the same pos nut your working on!! lol
