Upper Hose T Connector Broke

Upper Hose T Connector Broke - Doing Inline stat now
So yesterday the T in my T-connector broke. Hose fell off and coolant dropped.
It's the second one in a couple of years and I think it's because I bought the Allmakes (?) brand instead of the original. The LR may not be any better.
So do I buy another one for $60 plus bucks or is there some sort of substitution or mod I can do for it.

OK. That guy Josh is great.
So now I have JB Epoxy holding together the T of my T piece. I'm cancelling my order with AB for $69 plus shipping and I'm ignoring the RockAuto offer for the URO parts for $40 shipped.
I'm doing the Inline Thermostat mod now. And I have a Glowshift gauge which I could put in place of that petcock (ew) but then I wouldn't be able to bleed it like that. I'm not gonna do the glass bead level bleeder cause it costs. The Glowgauge one is cheap even if I have a beef with them.
So, I need the
1 1/4th housing $60 (Got it from Summit)
32mm Water adapter (1 1/4th) $15 (Glowgauge)
180 Degree thermostat $8 (Autozone...maybe not 180?)
2002 BMW 330 lower radiator hose $9 (#22639) Ill find it locally.
1/8th NPT Petcock $??? Find it locally
So that's around a $100 mod. A few bucks under the dealer price here.

Interesting. I'll have to look into that. I have the 160 on the D1. Gas mileage has been extra sucky at around 12mpg. Not sure if that is truly related.
It's hot here and I'd like to go for a little cooler than warmer on engine temps.
