Default Upper Inlet Manifold Hole Question

So thanks to you guys I was able to shady tree garage my way into a head gasket change and bolt up so everything runs well. While double checking everything I did notice that while I put 6 bolts in the upper inlet manifold I saw a hole that appeared to just go nowhere. I have attached a picture here.
Is there something that is supposed to go here?

It allows water to drain off the intake manifold.
