Exclamation URGENT: Spark Plug Job, A No Go. URGENT!

Okay, I started the plug job using the "without removing IM method" by DeepBlueWater. Started by taking off the 8 and 2 wire from coil pack. Took off the #2 spark plug. I am having trouble putting the new spark plug in into #2.

I ordered the Bosch +4 part number 4418. It seems that everyone is using the same part number?? Its not fitting, it seems like I am making a new thread pattern.

I am very afraid if that happens, the block will be damaged.

Quick, help!!!!!!!!!

Grab another one of the spark plugs that you have and try to thread that one.
If it still wont go then try one of your old ones again.
Also make sure that the treads in the head are clean, no dirt or anything.
Take your Liquid Wrench and spray anything that may be in/on the threads/hole and clean them really well.
Do this to all the cylinders.
One at a time of course.

Yes, I tried putting the old one back on but it also has trouble. I don't have any liquid wrench, would carb cleaner would for the moment?

Before you go too far, send me your tele number and lets talk, sounds like you have pulled a thread.
Does the 4418 thread pattern look like the same as the old plugs you have removed?

That should be fine just don't use a whole lot. Make sure you have a clean rag though and after you cleaned off the threads, inspect them really well, make sure nothing got cross threaded or anything.

Good lord, how do you click the new Mag wires on. I got the the bottom row, but #8 and #6 is a killer. Magnecor made the rubber boot to large. There is no way to click the boot in.

It will go, you just need to grab it low with one hand and push hard with the other, I had the same problem, once they get on they ain't commin' back off.

I'm not sure but it has no room nor leverage to go in. The top of the boot is touching the firewall and the boot itself is slippery. Even so, it is an awkward angle for your arm to reach and force it in.

Its been 6 hours. I need to take a break, my knees are about to burst!!!

Yet another reason I am glad that I own a DI, plugs AND wires in under a hour.
