Default Vacuum leak code

Check engine light is on and the code came back and I have a vacuum leak. I know dumb question but have access to a smoke machine to test for vacuum leaks and just wondering where do you plug in the machine

There is a port on the right-hand side of the upper intake (passenger side in the U.S.) right under where the brake servo vac line connects to the intake. I has a rubbery (silicone) cap that you can remove and use that port to connect the smoke machine. Unless your truck has SAI, I think. I think SAI trucks use that port for some function of the SAI, but I expect you could disconnect the SAI there for the purpose of the smoke test.

into a wall outlet

but seriously, if it's a pressure type machine, then usually any air intake line....

I found my leaks just spraying a can of WD40 along the intake gaskets...caused the engine to slow down...

I would say I’m a novice at best but I’m trying to figure this out, where would I find such air intake line? Do you have maybe a picture or parts diagram?

Can you send a picture screenshot or parts diagram depicting this?

The one with the red ring you are pointing at is for the brakes. The nipple you are looking for is right under that.

I’m not seeing a nipple directly below it that I do see one below it into the rear of the vehicle as depicted in this picture. With the smoke machine plug into the line or into the intake manifold?

That's weird, but okay. You can remove the hose that is to the left of the line with the red ring and use that to blow smoke into the intake. That'll be fine too.

But be careful with that feeling. The original one is a plastic that is known to break. If you do break it, you can get a brass replacement at any Lowe's or Home Depot or somewhere store. In the plumbing section.

ok got it thank you. Just to confirm you’re referring to the PCV valve correct?

I have seen other post about that being a easy part to break and what to do to replace it if it does.
