I had to do a business trip in Biloxi and took the Disco and found that many hotel car parks don't have sufficient clearance for LR's with a lift and a roof rack (always check at registration!). So I opted to Valet park (luckily it was complimentary where I was staying) and made sure to point out to the vallet folks that my vehicle had a clearance of 8 feet (actually it is closer to 7.5 feet, by better to over estimate) and they found a secure area to park it and brought it to me at the front drop off entrance since their rear area pickup area does not have good clearance. Two of the valet guys commented on what a nice car I had! I give them a 2 buck tip and it was worth it.

At least you were in the South where they're used to jacked up trucks An 8 foot parking garage is pretty much unheard of on the east coast. I drove around Philly for an hour a few weeks ago just to find a garage that would fit my stock disco.

Hey, what roof rack do you have? Is it the one from atlantic british that is 50x50?
I was looking at that one today on AB and I couldnt tell if you had that one or not from ur pic.
