There is a rigid, plastic hose that goes to the firewall, behind the brake booster and goes down towards the front, drivers side wheel.

Does anyone know what it it is? should the high end, behind the brake booster be attached to anything? What could it be venting at the front wheel?

I believe it's vent for front differential,,
