Default Vibration at 30-40 MPH

Hello all,
I have a 2001 Land Discovery that is experiencing vibrations as I accelerate between 30-45 mph. I changed front and rear shocks, I got 4 new tires and balanced them and I did alignment at Sears. But.... I still have that vibration. Someone suggested it could be the U joints or the driveshaft. Any suggestions? When I let off the accelerator the vibration stops but when I gas again it vibrates. Once it passes 50 its fine and below 30 not very noticeable.

Have you rebuilt the front driveshaft with greaseable u-joints? If not, stop driving it and get it done asap. If the front driveshaft goes, it will most likely punch a hole in your tranny as well.

besides the front prop shaft... you should do regardless..however this sounds more like the roto-flex coupler. it is in the rear between the rear propshaft and the rear diff.

As said make sure if it hasn't been rebuilt to do that to the front drive shaft, I did mine and have a vibration still at 35 and 71mph but I know my drive shaft needs to be balanced the weight is missing.
If after that it still vibrates I'm doing rear flex disc and then check prop shaft.

Good luck but as stated Do Make sure your front drive shaft has been rebuilt with greasable fittings on joint,.
