Default Vibration and Scraping Noise front end

Just replaced my brake pads last week and earlier this week I started noticing a scraping noise from what seems to be the front end of the truck. I also hear a constant sound that makes my truck sound like the Jetsons car. Along with this ive been noticing a very bad vibration when accelerating. It goes away at highway speeds immediately when i left off the gas. It seems to be the worst around 30 mph. Can someone help me?

vibrations is likely to be the front driveshaft. That needs to be confirmed and remedied asap as if it fails it likes to destroy the transmission and more...scraping could be dragging pads from a failing/sticky caliper or stuck guide pins.

Thank you, I think all my symptoms are pointed towards drive shaft. I have a replacement coming on Wednesday.

Could you have installed a brake pad backwards?

Checked that already, all good. I believe the scraping is my U joints. They are dried out and rusty.

I highly recommend you stop driving it until you replace the driveshaft. if you have CDL, remove the front and lock it so you can still drive. if the u joints blow it'll take out your transmission.
