Default Vibration when accelerating

I have a '96 Disco. When ever I accelerate, I have this vibration. Also, I hear a "tinkling noise" too. I took it to the Rover dealer and they said the noise was from the rear shocks so they replaced the shocks and I still hear that noise. NOTE: when I took it to Rover, I did not notice the "vibration". So, I am not indicating that Rover knew about the vibration. I only noticed the vibration after I picked up the vehicle from having the rear shocks replaced. Could it be a drive shaft or the "U" joints. Any ideas? Thanks, film guy

Default RE: Vibration when accelerating

I would bet you have a u-joint failing and would check them before much driving. Also once that is resolved I would go back to the deaker and let them know they guessed wrong and request your money back.
