Hi everyone,

Need to replace the tan-leather front passenger-side seat on my 2000 Land Rover DII -- the frame broke at the bottom so it's wobbling, not safe at all.

I'm trying to buy a seat from an auto parts recycler/junkyard, but these guys don't have pictures so I can't tell if the color is going to match or if the part is the right one -- they can't tell me either because they ship it from places around the country, apparently.

Does anyone know, based on the VIN alone, whether I can tell if 1) the part will fit in my car and 2) whether it's the same color? I heard there's something called a trim code somewhere as well?

Separately, I'm looking at $265 for the seat (excluding tax and shipping), which doesn't seem bad given some places sell the seats together so it costs like $500~700+ for both. If anyone has recommendations on a place to get a decent condition tan leather passenger-side seat for a better price, I'm all ears.

Not the same, you have Lightstone that one is Bahama Beige.

Crazy high, there's no demand for seats. Shipping is going to be high as well.

Lightstone is also somewhat hard to come by as most are Bahama.
