can you grab a pic of the part numbers on that sticker? that would be a sure-fire way to confirm.

there are a number of parts labelled wabco. the part # will tell you definitively, along with the software revision.

Not the easiest thing to see, but if you zoom in on the label you can just make out the part number: SRD 000070

yes, that is the part number for the early model year slabs unit.

there's also SRD000150 that was fitted to 2003 and SRD500070 on the 2004 trucks.

True, and what's in the OPs pic looks like an '02 date. Maybe he will confirm that.

I think the rest of the SLABS Part Numbers based on VIN are something like .....

SRD100461 ...to XA227049
SRD100462 … XA227050 to 2A736339
SRD000070 … 2A736340 to 2A999999
SRD000150 … 3A000000 ON
SRD500070 … 4A000001 ON

Anybody know if there is a difference between a Disco 2 SLABS unit for Td5 or V8? or are they all the same SLABS unit?
I have a breaker who has an ‘04 Dated SLABS unit SRD000150 for dirt cheap but says it’s for a Disco 2 TD5.
Thanks in advance!

@JUKE179r As far as I know the are exactly the same, the only difference I am aware of between the TD5 and V8 is the ECU. A fellow local who did a a swap to a TD5 only replaced the engine and ECU, all other computer stayed in place my research shows the same.
