Wanting to buy need info
Here are a couple of examples...Tune up on a DI, 1 hour including plugs and wires. DII, 5 hours.
DI wheels bearings are replacable, $120 (both sides)plus labor. DII the whole hub must be replaced, $400 plus labor.
The alternator for each truck is $200, 30 min DIY job. DII's tend to be more problematic and are alittle harder to work on, but those who have them LOVE them.
DI's are friendlier to the DIYer and as stated before are designed to be worked on in the field with basic tools.
Do not buy the first one that you test drive, drive several, and then drive a few more.
Stay within your budget. You willlike these better than your Jeep.
