Warn Part No. 26502 - M8000 Self-Recovery Winches
Plus, if you search the web you can find a coupon for 10% off or more. I think I found a $55 coupon. Less than $500 shipped.
I still haven't installed it yet, waiting on fog-lights for my bumper, so I cannot recommend that winch yet, but I was impressed with the price and shipping of the retailer.

Yeah, I was more curious than anything else. They are known as 'Champion' winches in Europe... Very popular top-end brand... They changed the name to 'Warrior' for North America, as there is a lesser/cheap brand under the Champion name in the states.
$499.95 is not a bad price for a 9500lb though, water proof and wireless. That's a lot cheaper than Warn's 9500.
I have just never used or seen them.

I say go for it. I've known lots of people that have bought winches that weren't one of the name brands, and I've never heard any complaints..... I think a cheap winch is better than no winch. I know someone that has a champion winch from sams club, and he loves it. The only reason I bought the warn m8000 is that it was the cheapest of the winches that was a sure fit for my bumper. I don't plan on using it all the time... if I did, I would have bought something in the 9500 or 10000 lbs range, probably an "off brand"

As an aside.....
Warrior Winches (or Champion Winches as they're known in the UK) have been used by the British Armed Forces in combat for years. Certainly a testament to their durability and reliability.

That's good to know. Can you get parts to repair them too?
