Default Weathertech Racksack?

Interested in buying one of these:

For a trip I'm taking this Friday. Anyone have any experience with this particular model or have any recommendations for another model? We don't have a roof rack, just those bars like in the photo.

Thanks

I have one for my car and found that if you can keep the front lower than the rear it will block less wind and stay on the top better, mine goes in a basket.

If you have a sunroof watch the glass.

I'd really love to get a roof rack...with a Hannibal tent and I'd just live in it. But the wife is against doing anything like that to HER DII.

So I just ordered this deal...we'll see how it works out. The downside is they are not waterproof, just water-resistant. The simple fix for that I learned back in the old USMC...just put everything inside garbage bags before putting it inside the sack on the top of the rig.

Thanks for the insight bro.

If you buy el cheapo terry cloth towels you can lay them on the roof under the cargo thing to protect the paint and glass.

Spike,

Thanks for the tip. I'll take that under advisement.
