my rover is the dark blue with 19" lr3 rims....stock

 

Gotta love a FJ80....but no match for the Disco when it comes to ability and comfort. No scanner but I think about to invest in one. Oh and hanging out, beer and food. Sounds like a plan. Funny just thinking..I think it's the originals on the LC after 310,000. Actually my 02 Disco SD has the original head gaskets at 122,000.

 

Are those rims powder coated or painted?

 

You're very welcome! I enjoyed hanging out and my boys are still talking about the fun they had so it was a win-win for everyone.

Let's do it again soon. Matt (Wolke-San) actually got back with me too, he's bummed he didn't make it out for a couple of beers on Saturday night. Next time you're up we'll have to line up with his schedule too, he's got a beautiful '04 Disco. Plus, he's got a Bearmach Hawkeye scanner that's unlocked for D2...

Anyone else in Central or Northeast FL? Let's all get together for beers at the King's Head British Pub in St. Augustine- I'd love to set up a monthly gathering of some sort!

 

I'm in Kissimmee, St A is a bit of a trek for a beer but do it on a weekend and I'm in. I don't mind getting together and kicking tires. Has anyone been to Hard Rock in Ocala?

I haven't done Hard rock, but have heard good things. A weekend get-together would be the way to do it, probably a Saturday afternoon or evening.

I've been wanting to get out to Hard Rock, it would be nice to have 4-6 similarly equipped trucks for an outing like that! I know of 2-3 guys in the Sanford area that would probably be up for it, Wolkesan would go if he doesn't have to work, and I'm sure Zonk872 could be persuaded...

There is Disco2Orlando near me as well and 1 other novice who is willing to learn, it could be a good get together.

 

Check with Disco2Orlando and see what his weekends look like in the foreseeable future. I'm usually pretty flexible on the weekends. Let's try to put something together!

Have you been to the FLRC site? The date for their Spring Rally has been set for the weekend of April 30th...

 

Any weekend after this one will be good for me. I checked the FLRC site and I will keep Apr 30 open, I'm sure I will make it.
