I got the instructions to do the headlight conversion off the internet a long time ago. I send it to all who ask for it for free. There are people that sell it on e-bay for up to $50. The thing is, I sent it to Howard Stapley in July of 2007. He is now selling it on E-bay..

here is his profile...

Whatever you do, don't bid on this item. I'll give it to you for free.....

He's obviouslya jackass. It's sucks that there are people like that in this place, but they're here. What can ya do? Of all the technology in the world today, surface-to-air missiles, cell phones, Active Cornering Enhancement... you'd swear someone would invent some sort of an anti-jackass proximity mine or something. *sadface*

Thanks for warning us too!

HAHA What in the world? Some people will do anything to make some extra change. Oh well, I tell everyone that i hear talking about the conversion not to buy it because you can get it for free. okdiscoguy, thanks for being honest and just sending the directions out for free.

The cost of the lights stopped me. I know the D2A's lights are a direct replacement for the D1, but I am not sure how much more modding you have to do. The eyebrow trim has to be replaced on the D2, and I don't think it will line up to the grill on a D1. Then, I don't know how a D2 grill will line up to a D1 bumper. I know you can put the D2 grill and bumper on a D1. That way I know it would work. But that 's a lot of swapping.....

@okdiscoguy

How big is the file? If it can be emailed, I'd expect that it isn't too big.

Why not save yourself the hassle and upload it at http://www.rapidshare.com

After it is uploaded, you can simply supply a web address to everyone who wants to download it, rather than worrying about emailing it.

If there are multiple files, use winzip to consolidate all of them into a single file.
