Weird Electrical problem
After having the oil changed in my disco this morning, I was driving along and turned on my radio...nothing, no power and no power to the clock either, well no problem its a fuse,
changed the fuse...nothing...then I noticed the following:
all have no power
radio
clock
inside dome lights
key fob doesn't work, lock and unlock ( replaced battery to make sure)
thought I would check for codes....no power to the diagnostic port
OK stumped here!!!
if anyone has an answer please let me know
Disco Mike is also researching this
Thanks

looooooooong shot but maybe if you jacked it up for the oil change, an electrical harness or ground somewhere popped lose?
one definatly shouldnt be related to the other but ive seen wierder things.
is there power getting to the fuse box itself?
im not familair enough with disco's yet, but some cars use a ecu type computer called a body control module that usually is responsible for lights, radio, door locks etc... its electrical harness might have worked loose or blown out if you even have one.
sorry to be generic here, just throwin stuff out for you in the meantime.
do all of your other electrics work, dash warnings, horn, headlights, windows, key in ingition or open door chime bell etc?

the car was not jacked up, it one of those oil change places that has a pit you drive over, but good idea.
everything else works except whats on my list,
it is strange everything was working perfectly until i got my oil changed today?..hmmm
I was told it might be the multi function module located behind the fuse block under the dash.
Thanks
