Yea, it's been a rough few days... my Disco has the driver's door panel off because my window regulator and motor decided to go out on Thursday. Then Friday my wife's D2 blows the belt to pieces, the the bike on Saturday. Been a little rough.

The bike is a 2005 Kawasaki Nomad 1600... it has hard (ABS plastic) saddlebags that are painted to match the bike (2 tone paint). A brand new replacement bag, just 1 mind you, from the dealer is about $1100. The $200-$400 price is a used bag found on ebay or from a salvage bike. Too much money going out of my pocket right now. Especially since we're taking a 2 week trip to Italy in 3 weeks.

Well, seeing as how we both drive D2's, and hers is in worse shape than mine (obviously), I think I'll keep the wife and get rid of her truck. I believe we're actually going to sell it back to her sister (bought it from her about 2 yrs ago) for what we bought it for.

UPDATE - Got the truck back from the shop last night. New a/c compressor (it was totally destroyed), new belt, recharged a/c, new coolant, and fixed coolant leak ( turned out to be a hard, plastic coolant line that ran under the intake). All-in-all the bill totaled $590.

I'll have to keep an eye on coolant levels over the next week or so to make sure that leak was the actual problem. Or, if there is something else going on.
