Default Welp, found my exhaust leak...

Two biggies at the passenger side manifold. The left side was fine so I didn’t fuss with it. I replaced the Y-pipe gaskets too, but I still have a small leak coming from there. Not sure what to do.

Check out Remflex gaskets. I got them off eBay from a company in Stockton. https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...askets-100442/

Some of the ol' school guise in my shop say double up the gaskets. Idk, seems dumb to me.

i just ordered some gaskets for they pipe to manifold as mine are leaking on the right side. Good thing for me is that the nuts move easily. (Ordered new nuts also)

I might give the double gasket thing a try.

And yeah! I soaked the nuts in PB last night and all of them along the entire length of the exhaust system came off without a fuss. Honestly, I think I big contributor to exhaust hardware removing without any drama is the last person to work on it torquing everything to spec.

Hm. I think Victor Reinz exhaust gaskets look a lot different, not stamped steel. More of a head gasket looking material.
