Default Went to replace spark plugs :) .... >:( !!!! Cheapest Place For Wires

So I went to replace my spark plugs. Couldn't really afford to do the wires at the moment so I just got some plugs.

Spent 50$ to get the bosch +4 s as I heard to do so here. Thought and still think its stupid to have more than one electrode, but what the hell.

Go to remove wires and.. The wire broke..

GREAT...

Looks like I have the money to do spark plugs wires now..

I hear the mangecor are great but I heard there was another brand.. STP? Something like that was around 50$

Go to British Parts of Utah, they have STI 8 mm wires for $70 and they have the same coil connection as do the factory making the job a little easier.

Since you are in a bind go to AutoZone and buy their life time warranty plug wires.
Throw those on the truck, they will work great for a few months.
In the meantime order your good plug wires and then return the AutoZone ones.

Spence, FWIW, I put autozone $45 silicones and $3 autolites in my DI 5yrs/ 50k miles ago, still runs great.

Gets sprayed often, I've got my own power washer, haven't had a problem.

luck,greg

I wasn't expecting to hear to go to autozone..

Hmm I do have the money, but didn't really "have" the money.

But Id rather do it right the first time and not worry about it..

Ill see if apex will ship quick. And Ill check british parts..

But I MIGHT go autozone..

Or if you have the time order kingsborne 8mm wires, think they are around $30

Ok well I will either go to autozone and get their 25$ duralast or I will order the kingsborne.

Im just not sure.. I dont want to put the autozones on only to take them off. But it would be nice if I could drive this week.

I had good luck with my first set of Duralast plug wires, they lasted 2 years.
Then they went bad.
I replaced them 3 more times in the next 12 months.
I have since installed the Magnecor plug wires.

IF you go with the Kingsborne wires (just put a set on my '97) I'd also get the wire separators for 8mm wires.

They have a variety here:
