Wet Carpet Passenger Side

Wet Carpet Passenger Side
Folks,
New to the forum but looks like a host of great information. I have a problem that has me a little bit stumped. I just purchased my second Rover, a 99 Series II with 82K miles on the clock. The passengers side carpet is getting wet even while there is no rain in the forecast. I have checked the entire cooling system and all is good. Tonight I investigated a little more. I believe the condensor waste water tube (my name for it) is leaking at the connection. This is the flexible black tube that attaches to the condensor or heater core goes through the transmission hump and discharges to the passengers side of the transmission. Is there a known issue with this? A known repair? Any other thoughts?
Thanks for your help and I look forward to participating here at Land Rover Forums.

RE: Wet Carpet Passenger Side
Well... one this I did do is take it to the dealership and they just drained the A/C pipes... that seemed to work.. I'm not really technical when it comes to stuff like that, but when the dealership cleaned and drained the pipes, there was no more water..
Hopefully that works out!
Have a great week!

RE: Wet Carpet Passenger Side
I used to drivereefer trk and the nipples on the reffer unit would clog all the time, we would remove them and let the drain pipe just be open to the world, never a clog after the nipple is removed.
Soooo, if you are having such problems with the nipples clogging then you might just want to take them off.
