Has anyone started a thread about custom paint jobs on the Discos ?

I'm getting ready to repaint my 99 and was curious about custom paint themes, etc...that others have seen. Yellow or Tangiers Orange is (very cool), Olive or Platinum, and I've seen a few good wraps.

I know colors are a personal preference but I was looking for other ideas and photos of custom paint jobs...

Something that ive always liked was ( as far as vinyl wraps ) was matte blue with metalltic brushed aluminum on the raised part of the hood.
As far as paint I like military green, or matte white with black accents

 

I'm a believer of keeping the factory color no matter what color it is.

 

the blue that Urban Panzer has on it.

 

i like black. then I like white. but if my disco where black instead of that silver color it would probably look like a stripped turd. the silvers and whites (lighter colors) seem to hide all the off road oopsies, better.
but then again, I think this guy nailed it

Honestly, waited so long to find the right white one. White is my favorite disco color.

That color is similar to a 1970 Dodge Challenger (Panther Pink).

Kinda like a stripper....Interesting to look at for a while....might be cool with mud all over it....but driving it day after day after day might get very old.

 

I saw one once with a different colored roof I really liked. Was dark green or blue on the body.

And anyone who likes white -and calls it chawton - just has to be female.
