This is the longest a half tank of gas has ever lasted mein the Disco! Going on three weeks.

 

That included the 2.5 weeks mentioned here? Nice job, I'm convinced mine sips fuel while I am sleeping at night. LOL.

Best of luck with the job, the market straight sucks right now. It's tough out there these days.

 

I drove it home on 8/20 and had a needles width over half, started it for the first time since then today and drove 32 miles round trip in the rain and now have exactly 1/2 tank of gas.
With any luck I will be using that gas up this week.

 

I hope you will be burning some of that while commuting to your new job. I don't (and no-one should) figure fuel costin off-road trips, probably why wife thinks I'm crazy. Besides, who wants to know what milage they get wheelin?

 

I replaced the stock front driveshaft w/1 I purchased from Tom Woods. No more chirpping and clanking metal. Easy install and already had all the fittings greased.

NW-you will always get better MPGwhen driving south compaired to any other direction.

 

Spike- I live in townhome w/o a garage. I keep motorcycles in storage when not riding so I do most work on disco there. I dont have to worry aboutsomeone driving over legs when I'm underneath truck.

 

I figured that was the deal.Iused to havea inside heated storage unit, it was awesome. I could work on the car in the dead of winter and still be warm and dry. They didnt like that though.

 

I changed the cargo door's lock actuator. Now all 5 are brand new!!! So I guess I'm done for a while with the door locks. Now....brakes soon!

 

i brushed a stick off my hood today...

drove mine to school a week ago and haven't moved it since, partially because gas is expensive but mostly because i got the best parking spot ever right in front of my building!
