Anyone know the name of the fasteners which hold the interior plastic covers in the cargo area and where to get replacements? Bringing a 2001 Discovery 2 with 2001 miles back to life.

I find a lot of different fasteners at Rovers North. You can just explain to them where it belongs and they will look up. Not sure name but it should sorta of look like a 2” threaded plastic ‘screw’.

 

I think they’re called “Christmas tree” fasteners (no, really...). I had the same problem but was fortunate to come across a junker with the same interior color I could pull some out of.

 

Not sure what they are called, but I know that there are several different lengths in use.
I think I've seen generic ones for sale in the panel parts area in the auto parts stores. Might be worth a couple of dollars to test the length you need.
