2.19 or so here in South Carolina for 93 octane. All of my cars other than the FJ require premium so I'm used to using it.

Price you pay fro driving a tank. besides.. if wife gets hit with one of those silly smart cars.. she may have to buff out a scratch.

good thing the gas tank does not leak.... what wait.. it does.. right into the motor.

And I thought the gas gods were smiling at me when I paid 2.55 for 93 octane.

Gas is a little expensive but can you guess what the cost of replacing your valve guides might be while you are driving on regular, loosing 1.5 MPG and short on power?????

I recently was returning from a trip and needed gas in the middle of no where.

The only station was having a problem with their pumps and the only gas available was 87 octane.

I had to fill up with that. Will one tank of the cheap stuff cause any problems?

Nah you'll be ok.
We had a gas shortage last year during one of the hurricanes and the only thing coming in was regular, so I had to put it in once too. I just ran shell v-power fuel system cleaner through once I filled up again with premium. One time filling up with regular wont hurt, but many times will.

No one mentioned Chevron. That was my favourite in AZ. Can't find it here in CO though.
