WAY to high of a price, even if they can prove the head gaskets and other maintence stuff was done recently.

I got a 02 with Roof rack and light bar I will sell you for that $4800. Seriously that is steep for an 01.

 

Here is what to check.
Walk to the back of the truck.
Says LR3 or LR4 - buy it.
Does not say LR3 or Lr4 - run away.

Easy.

This image does not inspire confidence. I was thinking more along the lines of the stuff they sprinkle on the roads in order to sell more mufflers.

 

When looking around, look underneath at the back. There are two box steel rails. Check they are in decent condition. They can corrode quite badly, and salt on the road will only aggrevate that.
