Default What parts to pull before junking DII?

In Nov '12 I got a deal on 2 DII's. A 99 that didn't run and a 00 that ran. I did get the 99 running, but it ran gough and I didn't have the time and didn't want to put the $$ into it. The nail in the coffin for the '99 is when I had to pull the radiator out it to put in the '00.

I am going to junk the '99. What should i pull off of it prior to junking it?

I am going to pull:
- xyz switch
- driver's door actuator
- MAF sensor
- rear bumper (the '00 has a small crack in it)
- cowl (it not cracked)
- alternator

What else?

front bumper if it's good is worth some money.

Headlights and fog lights too. Heck all of the lights front and rear. If you don't you'll end up breaking one and wishing you had saved them.

I'd grab the gauge cluster, ECM and BCU (maybe keys too). as a matched set they'd be worth some money to someone, as you can swap them all together and not need dealer programming.

If it's coil sprung, maybe the rear springs, perches, bolts, and the SLABS computer to sell to someone that wants to convert from air bags.

If it's got SLS, then maybe the compressor and valve block.

Cargo cover if it's got one.

Center dash plastic around the radio/hvac is or was a pretty common requested part for D1 and D2 (should be the same, or close enough to work).

The leather on the passenger seat base is the same part number for the drivers seat, and is usually in pretty good shape, so you might want to grab it for a spare.

Heck, just keep the truck. ;-)

If memory serves, the cats are worth a couple hundred when recycled, so you could cut them out with a sawzall.

window motors and lock actuators

power steering pump

grab a couple or relays from the underhood fuse/relay box and throw them in your in-truck toolbox

abs modulator w/ shuttle valve switch

starter

ac compressor

If you're in central Arkansas, I'll buy some stuff off you.

Still in NY. I thought I had my location in my profile. I just added it.

It doesn't have sunroofs, SLS or ACE. The front bumper was trashed when I got it. I will keep the lights that are good.

I will pull the computers, ignition switch & drivers door lock, ABS modulator, PS pump, AC comp,

At this rate, I will be keeping everything except the body. Like drowssap said, I should keep the truck. I would love to but I want the space that it is taking up.

yes get ancillaries.pumps, air box lid, etc. i'd get hubs and 1/2 shafts (so I can continue to break them)might want to yank more ace stuff, too. v block, actuator. anything that is outrageous to buy new or hard to find at wrecker. clear out a storage spot, you are willing to part with....fill it up. overhead garage storage is easy to part with. parts don't take up much room when off. 5gl buckets hold a lot, too.
edit= just saw the "n't" on "does" no ace.

cam sensor on the oil pump cover. Those things are expensive.

I'll buy your blinkers if they are in good condition
