Recently installed a new arb bumper not sure what this connector is to

Because it's round, my guess is its for the electric fan. Just follow the wire.

If it was oval, I would think it was the transmission cooler temp sensor, which some the later trucks didn't use:

I was out grabbing a part off my parts car for the D2 I am currently repairing for a friend. That plug is indeed the plug for the Aux Fan.

Was indeed the aux fan, not sure how it was unplugged, maybe when my fan exploded it must of pulled it
