Default What to save from a Donor car?

As I posted in "What did you do today...thread" I picked up an D2 SE7. With the exception of the crunched roof the body, interior and drive train is in good shape. The previous owner kept it in good driving condition before the accident which incidentally a heavy tree limb fell on the roof.

There are parts on it I won't be able to use: sun/moon roof and rear A/C unit.

What bits should I keep from the vehicle that are either hard to get or go out on a regular basis? Keeping it and pulling parts off as needed is not an option.

Default A few Suggestions

1. Both Driveshafts- if they have the grease fittings.
2. MAF
3. A/C Compressor
4. Take two Lug nuts from each wheel.
5. Rear view Mirror.
6. All window and sunroof switches, seat adjustment switches, and covers.
7. ABS Modulator. (crazy expensive)
8. Coolant bleeder screw... (put it in the glove box in case you lose yours)
9. Belt tensioner.
10. Outer A pillar covers.
11. Grill.
12. Rear Door Latch assembly.
13. Cup holders... also expensive... sell on ebay.
14. If front seats are intact(without tears)... sell them locally.
15. Fuel pump isn't that hard to pull...
16. Visor clips.
17. If sunroof pans aren't damaged pull them...
18. Fuse box with Fuses and Relays.
19. All vacuum lines.
20. Master cylinder.
21. Power steering gearbox and power steering pump... with lines and reservoir.

If you have a place to store it... and it's intact... pull the radiator. I'd pull the thermostat and hoses as well as the belts.

This is off the top of my head... and I don't know what your storage situation is. Most of these are problems I've had or still have. Some I've had on a D1.

If you have the space for it, pull out the entire drive train if you have the space for it. Other things:
1. Pull the wheels if the tires are good.
2. Window regulators.
3. All working door latches
4. Outer C pillar covers
5. Headlights and tailights
6. Both bumpers if they aren't cracked
7. engine air filter cover
8. windshield cowl if it isn't cracked
9. If it has one, the oil cooler and lines
10. Cooling hoses
11. ECU, BCU, and SLABS computer

I had to look this one up. It will definitely go into the parts bin along with everything else previously mentioned.
