Default What are these tubes for?

Hi all,

Went under the car yesterday to check some things. I noticed two lines, one near each foglight and saw they where closed by a bolt.
it certainly does not look original so i tried to follow these lines. They come together in the middle of the bumper, see photos.
These two lines are here connected to another line, i can’t see where the line is going to.

Does anyone know what this is? Thanks

My guess too. Maybe they stopped working and that was the 'fix'

I always though the headlight washer was kind of weird (maybe I don't understand the use case). They only activate every 3rd use of the washer fluid when the headlights are on, I'm sure land rover knows more about it than I do but I feel that they should either activate every time you use the washer (if your windshield is dirty enough to need it, your headlights probably do to) or have a provision for manual activation which probably wouldn't be too difficult to rig up.

I agree, it’s one of those things that I never even tested. Maybe if I ever have to pull my front bumper I’ll test it and refurb if necessary.

Thanks, could indeed be for the headlight washer. But since there are know no washers on mine I did not think about that. Perhaps the bumper has been changed by a previous owner
