IMO, brushed aluminum or carbon fiber are much better looking than wood trim, but it depends on the rest of the interior. A dark interior looks good with the aluminum, light interior I would go with carbon fiber.

maybe if we are talking about a sports car or a RR sport,,,
but on a disco i think the wood is a bit more classy and classic
