Question what would be a good suspension lift kit?

Im new to this whole land rover world and im about to purchase a 2002 discovery. I would like to start tinkering with it soon, what would be a good lift kit about 2 - 3 in and with that would i need a SYE, or extend my D shaft or what ever. Also how big of tires could i put under it.

Your 2 main choices are Old Man Emu and RTE depending on the type of wheeling you plan on.
As for tire size you could work into a 285/75/16, wouldn't recommend it though, you'll loose to much torque, MPG and it would be hard on your spider gears.
I would say something from a 245/75/16 to a 265.
No drive line stuff to change.

i run RTE (rovertym engineering) springs and OME shocks for a 2 inch lift and run 265/75's on my D1... but at full rear articulation my rears rub pretty bad (just havent gotten around to cutting them yet)
