Default What years have the CDL
Still trying to talk myself into a Disco 2 What years have the Center Diff Lock? Found a nice low millage 02 SE in the details it list CDL that's not right is it?

99-01 & “some” 02’s depending on the build date.

I thought it was mid 01's that were the cut off?

2004's have CDL as well

Keep in mind they might advertise it having the CDL but it may not have the linkage.

Well, the 99-01's (or 02's) certainly won't have a linkage but the 04' defo will

I’m talking CDL nipple on TC. Only 04’s left the factory with a linkage. My 02 Kalahari has it and it’s an early 02.

The only year Series II Discovery that has the CDL lever the same as that of the Series I Discovery is a 2004 year model.

I slapped an 04 linkage into my 02 Kalahari & 99 D2 along with 04 SLABS units. Used it a lot at the Hill Country Rover Rally along with manual mode.

If I remember correctly all SALTY vin's have the CDL transfer case. You can fit a d1 shifter in with some slight modification.

04 linkage is an upgrade IMHO to the D1 setup. I knew a few D1 guys running 04 linkages.
