I tried the search feature as I can't imagine this not being discussed, but what do you keep in your truck other than the tire change kit in order to be prepared for roadside issues. I have:

The Land Rover tire change kit
A basic socket set
A Screwdriver
Duct Tape
Spare Fuses
Extra oil and brake fluid

I also have AAA...

 

Brake switch
oil,,antifreeze,,light bulbs,, fuses,,
Winch kit,,tools all but (special tools)

Going out far off road add
fuel pump ,, starter,, Alt..battery checker.
Belt ,, hoses,,hose clamps.
GI pick & shovel.
CB radio fuel cans
Cell or Sat-phone and Cash

You need to up date with the doll and a air pump,,,,,just know I won't stop and help in a brake down.

2 Tonne lifting strop
Basic first aid kit

(Optional)
Bridging/sand/mud ladders - I use 2 x 3 foot sections of scaffolding plank
Felling axe (you can take a chainsaw if you like, but axes take up less space, don't smell, don't breakdown, don't need fuel, can be used as a large hammer if you turn it over, don't tend to cut your legs off as easily if you have an axe-i-dent (sorry) etc. etc.)
A couple of good quality D shackles
Extra spare tyre and tyre lever
