Paint it pink like that one and then have stickers all over it that say "Save the TaTa's"

 

haha ive seen a pink one in person and they took the land rover sticker of the hood and had something else i couldnt see what but anyway I do like the green as well thats what mine is, epsom green. im thinking ill either repaint it that or black. i think yellow looks awesome with black parts

 

has anyone got their rover painted by a maaco? if so how much did it cost

 

From what i heard, Maaco isnt great. Cheap paint, Cheap work, Black shows scratches like you wouldnt believe. id go with the G4 orange and blue stripe, or the XD series. Rock rash on that is just nothing but character.

 

Maacos are individually owned so there are some that suck and some that do good work however I have never needed anything painted so that is second hand knowledge. I like both the white and silver of my trucks but would have to go with a tan color if I could choose again.

 

beluga black for me. blacks my favorite color on all cars. disco's don't show black very well with all, the..... well lets call them character marks, and battle scars all over them.... wouldn't have it any other way

 

was just thinking of this thread yesterday when I saw a white D1, a color I usually don't like on any vehicle..but looks great on a rover! I guess discos are like a hot girl..no matter how she dresses..shes still hot! (except for that pink one..i dont know what those people where thinking)

 

lol thats funny. well im thinking strongly on black and i went to my nearest maaaco and the guy seemed reasonable, told me to name a price and he would work something out, i really dont want to exceed 6-700 as im planning on getting a brush guard and some kc's as well. does anyone have a clean black d1 they can link me to a pic of? i have only seen 1 in black, my broter in laws and it has many battle scars haha

 

Love the white roof Kingsly...My Disco is silver and I love it. I live in Seattle and I get lots of rain and road scum and mine always shines like a diamond. I almost never have to wash it and it always looks good. I have had many other colors of cars and this is the lowest maintanance I have ever had. I am thinking of painting the roof though....white?....Black?....any thoughts guys and gals?
