Default What's in *your* ... tool box?

No, this isn't a Capital One ad.

Just the obligatory thread-for-newbies (of which I am one). What tools do you carry around in your truck, and why? Do you think they're something 1) everyone, 2) trail riders, or 3) hardcore 4-wheelers who fix *other* people's trucks in the Mojave need to be carrying.

And, if you can, where'd you get it, and how much did it cost?

1-bottle Jack Daniels,assorted wrenches pliers etc,flares,tie down straps,tow chain,fire exstinguisher,glovers and coveralls,flashlight,duct tape and mechanics wire.(note JD is for emergencys only)

I carry enough tools to do just about any repair necessary, even have an ODBII scanner in there.

I carry a fox hole shovel, machete', recovery strap, tow bar for towing a trailer, fist aid kit, gloves, bungee straps, rope, safety glass's, roll of Duct tape.
All of this fits in the two side storage bins and the storage bin in the cargo door next to the sub woofer.

Sometimes I carry a shotgun if I'm out in the country at our property.

gallon of premix prestone, wiper fluid, flashlight, jumpers, 10k# tow strap(20')
set of snowmobile clothes in winter(never had to break 'em out tho')

Tie-Down Straps; various trailer ***** & hitch; Warn recovery kit; two 30 foot tow straps; gloves, fire extinguisher; trash bags; tire iron; spade; axe; machete; knife; tool kit (wrenches; sockets; pliers; hose clamps; zip ties; etc); Mag light; shop towels; jumper cables; power converter; coolant; oil; brake fluid; power steering fluid; 5 gallons of premium; Sig P226; Surefire M3 combat light; fifth of Absolut.

Bottle jack, tire repair kit, 12V compressor, duct tape, breaker bar kit, 1L of Mobil 1, 4L of premixed coolant, 1L of trans fluid, a shovel, HD traction aids, jumper cables, tie down straps and a 20ft recovery cable. I also have flares and matches.

wrench set, screwdriver set, hex set, torx set, hammer, saw, led maglite, 5qt premixed dexcool, 5qt synthetic mobil 1, jumper cables, assorted bungee cords, toilet paper and matches.
