Default whats the deal wit key replacements

i have a 2001 disco 2 se and nobody wil make me the key due to a chip_ is thi correct_


whats the deal

please do let me know


also cost of a key replacement

and i put in a new battery on a transmitter and it doesn´t function no red light on it either

So, did you make it back from Mexico?

Yes, the key has an embedded chip that is read when you put the key in the ignition. It is required to match what the system expects before it will allow it to start the engine. Replacement keys need to come from the dealer.
