The Rover Car company and Land Rover company
where not the same company for many years.
I think it happend whenRover sold Land Rover to bmw.

What's in the future, Rover will be owned by another company because of Ford's heavy debt load.
The direction of all vehicle is going towards grocery getters and soccer Mom vehicles, so if you want a good Rover buy it now cause they won't be the same in the future.

Very cool! Sure wish they would bring that diesel and gearbox over the pond to the U.S.A!

Well, the Great Wall (suv copy of a pathfinder-like vehicle) made in Tianjin is kinda neat.. made from tinfoil parts though.

I'd LOVE to see LandRover move new parts and assembly plants to Canada then perhaps they'd modernize things and get some quality control and sober second thought on some of the designs.
