whats your occupation?
Didn't have time to read through the entire thread, but just guessing I'm the only one. If not, let me know - I would love to talk with you.
I am a master of the best video game ever invented. I'm an enroute Air Traffic Controller for the FAA.

Whats going on everyone... I work for the worlds biggest publishing firm.. Pearson. I do sales for one of their websites. This is a website that I helped develop from the ground up. I used to be a software engineer (fancy word for computer programmer) and had an amazing opportunity thrown in my lap. The company told me I could keep my same salary plus get commission (which is guaranteed to be at least half of my salary).
I now do sales for the website, www.aimsweb.com and I love it. I generally only work about 3-4 months a year and the rest of the time is spent doing NOTHING at all, lol. I work from home mostly and travel quite a bit.. Life of a salesman...
Thanks for checking it out and take care.

How far did someone have to dig to find this thread? I have changed jobs. I am now an airline ticket agent/ramp agent for a small instate airline. I want to get back to driving a truck but this pays the bills for now.
Wow, There's an eclectic list of careers there!
I'm a product manager for a lifejacket manufacturer. This means I handle product developement from concept to design, patterns, graphics, manufacturing etc. Our factory is in Fiji in the South Pacific so I get to go there about 4 times a year. I also sit on a few standards committees so I travel a bit for that. A bit over the travel to tell the truth!
This barely keeps the Disco fueled. - I need to ride my bicycle a bit to keep in the black!

Yeah mine has changed too.
Im a full time student at High Point University, and for the summer I am working at a Benjamin Moore Paint store, and running my own firework stand around 4th of July. Both pay pretty dang good for a college student, got very lucky with the job search this year.
