Cool What's on your Rover to-do list for this summer?

Just curious what projects everyone is planning to take on this summer...

My list is below (in no particular order):

To-Do
Change diff and tc oil
  • SeaFoam induction
  • Clean wiper stalk so my wipers work in every mode
  • Figure out why drivers door lock will not unlock with remote (see https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-remote-49816/)
  • Solve the hiss when my speakers have nothing playing
  • Fix ash trays
  • Deep clean engine bay
  • Paint fender flares
  • Find someone that can cut a spare key that works
  • Diagnose/solve intermittent P0154

Stretch goals!:
Paint headliner
  • Paint rims black
  • New thermostat (completing high mileage list)
  • Connect aftermarket radio to steering wheel controls

IMHO 180F thermostat should be soon on the list.

Yeah, I might bump that up. I am running at around 199-204 F and just had to put new coolant in when I replaced the water pump, so I guess I am avoiding going through the whole process again. That being said, I have not looked into the process very much. Maybe its way easier than I am thinking. Thanks for the advice though.

Just installed new block. Goal...get the truck to start! After that, I think I'm spent for a while other routine maintenance. I think I can swing new leather diff and e-brake boots for Father's Day.

I need to figure out why my driver's window stopped working? I hear a squeal coming from the glove box when I hold the button down. Maybe new tires? Oh! A TJM roof top tent, that will be in the next couple weeks. And change the trans fluid before Buzz and Mike get mad at me.

Does it move AT ALL? Even a tiny bit? Could be the regulator wheels. You can get a new regulator for about $70, do it yourself in 45 or less.

  • ARB 2500 awning
  • Shocks and steering damper
  • Finish wiring of auxiliary lights
  • Discover what the heck is draining the battery

0 failures to date apparently, and almost no chance of an air leak due to the non-rotating air seal.
