Good looking truck, is the hole in your quarter panel and exhaust opening?

Copper or silver are good colors. Still love the truck!

Yes, I used a 3-1/8" bi-metal hole bit.... drilled a pilot hole and taped it with painters ape. Lined the hole bit to the pilot hole and carefully cut. Not as scary as I thought it would be. The rubber is a piece of gas line hose slit with a razor.

Trying to decide if I want to make the wheel permanently all black hence the poll. Easier for repaints. I will see how the Plasti Dip holds up.

Thanks for the compliment and post!

I'd go all black wheel and silver or black caliper. Bright painted calipers look to "ricey" to me. Truck looks great overall. I have a sliver 04. Been wanting to do the hood blackout since I bought it.

Caliper colors carried over from my car days. Tried Red/ Yellow/ Green/ now Copper. That's a tough one. I actually don't mind the copper. It pulls the orange turn signal in and is not such a basic color. Can't do the black and silver would blend with the rotor. You never know... later I might try a Graphite to blend in more subtle...

I've had that Vigg 3M decal on since 07' and it sits in the Florida sun 24/7. It was the 5 year vinyl. Probably just jinxed it but so far it's lasted long. I have heard of people Plasti Dipping the hood or rattle canning it. Not sure if I would opt for these procedures... probably do another hood decal when the time comes for replacement.

The Plasti Dip is a neat option since it's not permanent but it takes a lot of prep work to initially do it and it is easily punctured, cut or scraped. Probably not the ideal thing to do to an offroad vehicle. But... it gives me the chance to see it completely blacked out if I ever wanted to permanently do this...

I like the silver lip because it matches your paint.
