Anyone know why a 2001 SE7 would have 16" wheels rather than the split spoke 18's?
Just curious since I'm assuming the SE7 is supposed to be fully optioned?

They may have had them switched to the 16's.

Someone may have saved you the trouble of getting the 16's for better tire selection.

HAH! Okay, I'll be more optimistic about it!

I know 16" set up compared to 18" set up is definitely lighter.
But I do like the look of the split spoke wheel.

There are plenty of DII owners who want the 16" rim and not the 18". So just be paitent and check the classifieds on the forum for somebody who wants to make a swap.
