Default Where can I find aftermarket vinyl boots for the D2 transfer case and e-brake levers?

Well, its round 3 for me. Another "New to me" D2 in the driveway; and, of course, it needs the vinyl boots/covers for the E-Brake and transfer case levers. There was a list member making and selling these a few years back,....can anyone tell me where to find him?

Do not use vinyl, buy the leather ones that are available. Might want to do a search on this forum, there have been a couple of write ups recently.

Roversnorth has a pretty decent price on aftermarket similar to OE, which is probably vinyl.

For that price, if it lasts 3 years it's worth it. The OEM stuff is typically junk after 6 or 7 years and that goes for $130.

Yeah I brought that kit on a while back because of how ratty mine was when I bought my Disco. The difference is night and day, and it's marine grade vinyl that's quite well made.

Black spray paint! Heck if it works for the headliner, why not?

I ordered the set of leather covers/boots off ebay a few hours ago. I'll let you know how it goes.

If you have the old one, making a new one is a snap. Just rip the seam out, lay flat, and use as a template. Make your new one slightly bigger, leather always seems to get smaller when it gets stitched.
