If it won't shift from 4Hi/N/4Lo I'd check the cable to make sure it's not rusty, but usually it'll be the interlock solenoid preventing you from shifting 4Hi/N/4Lo

So long as they aren't melted completely shut, they are fine as is.

If they are melted completely shut, just cut them off right behind where they are melted and call it a day.
Once I got the Disco on the lift to trace the lines back so I could splice and repair them; I found that two of the 1/4” tubes weren’t even going anywhere. They were just hanging loose under the bottom. I pulled them out.

i was able to splice and reconnect the 5/8 line and the remaining 1/4 line; I then secured them to the firewall and moved them back away from the head to ensure they do not melt down again.

thanks for the help.

Yeah one of the trans vents makes a crazy loop, I had an 04 that had all that stuff melted, and I worked on an 03 where the driveshaft destroyed all that and the fuel lines in/out. I honestly took the loop out of the one vent, and routed em accordingly. They're normally secured behind the passenger head, but if someone changes the spark plug wires, or coil packs, the forget to put em back into place, and they eventually sit on the exhaust manifold and melt.
